Walk Up and Pick Up Protocol

Dear Parents,

This message is regarding the necessary procedures for our parents who pick up their child at the end of the day. There are two methods of pick up. One is the walk up area where you are required to park your car in the back parking lot and walk up to the gate to receive your child. When you call the school or send a note use this term “walk up”. If you plan to stay in your car and pick the child up then use the term “drive up”. This helps us to know where to send your child in the afternoon.

For those parents who plan to use the “drive up” method you must get a yellow car pass from the school which has your child’s name on it. This is to ensure your child’s safety and to move the traffic in a more efficient manner. If you need more than one car pass that is permissible. Your child’s teacher should have these passes. If they are out then you can go to the front office and receive a pass.

Please understand if you do not have a pass then you do not get the child, NO PASS/NO CHILD! You will be asked to drive around to the front of the school and provide a security code to receive your child. You will have through next Friday (August 19th) to pick up the car passes.

If you have any questions or concerns please call the school at 838-2506.
